Distance Covered:

Sailed from 6:00 til 7:30 at Hove. Took a five minute wait to get through the shoredump and it was straight out through big walling sets. First half hour was sensational. Pure clean effortless head high down the line. As the tide dropped the waves seemed to fatten out a bit until they were much closer in to shore. The big ones still stood up well. Rode one of the biggest waves upwind along the line so that I could measure it up and it was pitching out at safely logo high. And I guess I wasnt down in the trough either. 5.3m cambered sail was vital mind you cos of rip and slight offshore by beach.
